Tayson Echohawk of Orem High in Utah, Rendon Kuykendall of Hope Christian in New Mexico, Jaron Hartshorn of Lone Peak High in Utah and Kaden Levings of Cheyenne Mountain High in Colorado are all expected to compete Dec. 3 at Nike Cross Nationals at Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon, with Jake Seegmiller of Riverton High in Utah also in consideration for an individual berth as well. Echohawk placed runner-up in the 5-kilometer boys championship race for the second year in a row, clocking 14:55.56, with Kuykendall clocking 15:04.18 to finish fifth, Hartshorn secured seventh in 15:10.58, Levings earned eighth in 15:17.83 and Seegmiller will await the team qualifiers from the Southwest to determine if an extra individual spot is available following his ninth-place effort of 15:18.10.
