Riverton UT senior Joey Nokes placed sixth in the 5-kilometer boys championship race at the Nike Southwest Regionals at Casa Grande Sports Complex in Casa Grande, Ariz. Nokes clocked 15:00.8 to not only earn an individual berth to race Dec. 1 at Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, Ore., but also help Riverton finish sixth overall with 233 points.
